Visions
“Kia ruruku te waiora, kia ruruku i te waipuna a rongo, a kikokiko, a wairua”
To strive in the sweet waters of Rongo, physically and spiritually
Family, whanau, individuals, and patients are central to the way health services will be organised and delivered.
The vision is a pepeha (proverb) that metaphorically describes TKOH’s pursuit of a wellness environment where its members will thrive physically, spiritually, mentally and socially.
TKOH has a commitment to operating in a wellness paradigm (as opposed to a sickness paradigm) for all of its members.
TKOH PHO Nurses Vision
TKOH PHO will lead an innovative and inspirational nursing service that challenges itself to demonstrate nursing leadership, expertise, professionalism and responsiveness to Maori and high needs populations and communities.
