Background

Pu Ora Matatini Maori Workforce Initiative - Nursing was established in 2007 by Te Kupenga o Hoturoa PHO in collaboration with Manukau Institute of Technology, Ministry of Social Development, Counties Manukau District Health Board and Ministry of Health to increase the presence of Maori nurses in the health industry.

In 2009 Te Kupenga o Hoturoa in conjunction with Auckland University of Technology (AUT) introduced Midwifery as a study option. The first intake being Feb 2010. For more information Contact Us.
